Text or SMS capital of the World

Do you know that there are over 49 million SMS users in the Philippines? That's roughly 60% of it's total population. Amazin isn't it! I consider Philippines as the Text or SMS capital of the World.

When mobile SMS was introduced to Filipinos, it began to fasten the lifestyles and was a great factor for faster improvement. GSM text messaging or SMS is really a great thing for the country. It helps a lot. Thanks GSM!


Nokia Launches Newest N95

Nokia's newest N95 has been capturing lots of attention recently, however I haven't been reading Nokia's press release lately so I missed it.

This handset has a remarkable features that pushes the handset forward into the world of portable multimedia device, including a media player and a 5 megapixel digital camera. The device also features TV-out so recorded video and images can be replayed directly on a TV screen.

The N95 has a 2.6' QVGA screen, enhanced 3D graphics, controls for the media playback functions. There is also a standard 3.5mm headphone socket and support for micro-SD storage cards, as well as a mini-USB connectors.

Nokia N95 is primarily for WLAN, EDGE and WCDMA and also includes an integrated GPs device. The new multimedia-handset is expected to hit stores early Q1 2007.
